Transnational & Global Studies Graduate Certificate
The Transnational and Global Studies Center (TGSC) offers a new graduate certificate to recognize the successful completion of graduate level coursework related to transnational and global issues. The approved courses for the certificate are drawn from the more than 50 graduate courses with specific transnational and global content, which are organized into four categories of specialization:
- Science and Technology
- Business and Economics
- Global Governance and Security
- Development and Area Studies
The TGS certificate requires 13 credits for a master’s degree and 15 credits for a doctoral degree.

Courses with a strong international and global studies component that are not listed in the approved courses can be submitted for approval to the certificate coordinator.
