Objectives:

1. Students will become more familiar with using multimedia when learning about new topics.
2. Students will gain more knowledge about Western Europe
3. Students will gain an appreciation for the art that is in many Western European countries.
4. Students will gain knowledge about how to persuade others through a presentation tour of major cities in Western Europe.

Materials:

1. Computers with reliable Internet connections
2. Computers with software such as PowerPoint to develop a presentation for others to see

Procedures: (see Evaluation Guide as well)

1. Students will be assigned a Western European country to “tour.”
2. They will select four cities to plan an itinerary of which places to tour.
3. They will research the country and the four selected cities within the country.
4. They will write an itinerary for a tour of those four cities.
5. From the written itinerary, they will create a slide show.
6. They will present this slide show to fellow classmates and persuade them to visit their country.
